Parts Checklist

Track which pieces you have for each set. Perfect for reassembling sets from bulk lots or verifying completeness before selling.

The parts checklist is available for every set in your collection on both the free and Pro tiers. Free users can use it on the 25 sets allowed in their collection.

Opening the Checklist

Select a set from your collection
Go to the Inventory tab
Click the Parts Checklist button

The checklist opens in its own window so you can work alongside the main app.

Once you've started a checklist, Parts In Progress appears in the sidebar, listing every set whose checklist is under way. Selecting a set there opens its checklist straight away, so it's easy to pick up where you left off.

On iPhone and iPad: open the set, tap Inventory, then tap Parts Checklist. The checklist fills the screen; tap Done to close it. Sets you've started appear under Parts In Progress on the iPhone home screen (tap a set to jump straight into its checklist) and in the iPad sidebar.

Tracking Parts

Each part shows the required quantity and how many you've logged. Click the + and − buttons to increment or decrement the count. The completion ring at the top shows your overall progress.

Click a part image to enlarge it. Right-click a part to copy its part number, with or without the color ID.

iPhone & iPad

Tap a part to count one more. The ring next to it fills as you go and turns into a check mark when the part is complete. For parts you need up to 12 of, the ring is split into one segment per piece, so you can see at a glance how many are left.
Swipe right on a part to mark it complete. Swipe left to remove one, or to reset it to zero.
Touch and hold a part for more options: Enlarge, Add one, Remove one, Complete, Reset, and Copy Part Number.
Enlarge a part by tapping its image (in the list) or the corner button on its card (in the grid). The enlarged view has big − and + buttons, which are handy when you're sorting a pile of similar pieces. Tap outside it to close.
List or grid — use the button at the top right to switch between a compact list and a grid of larger pictures.
Actions (the … button at the top left) — Mark All Complete or Reset All to Zero.

Filtering and Sorting

Color chips — click to filter by specific colors
Category chips — filter by part category (Bricks, Plates, etc.)
Search — find parts by name, number, or color
Filter mode — show All, Missing only, or Complete only
Sort — by name, quantity, part number, or completion
Group — by color, category, or ungrouped

On iPhone and iPad, parts are grouped by colour. Above the list:

All / Missing / Complete — show every part, only the ones you still need, or only the ones you've found
Colour swatches — tap a colour to add it to the filter (tap again to remove it). Touch and hold a colour to show only that colour.
Search — find parts by name, number, or colour

Printing Missing Parts

On the Mac, click Print Missing Parts to generate a formatted printout of all pieces you're still looking for. The printout includes part images, names, colors, and quantities — useful for bringing to a LEGO store or sourcing the missing pieces online. Printing is only available on the Mac; on iPhone and iPad, use the Missing filter to see what you still need.

Minifigure Parts

The checklist includes parts from minifigures in the set. If a set includes 2 of the same minifigure, the part quantities are doubled accordingly. A part used by both the set and its minifigures (or by more than one minifigure) appears once, with the combined quantity.
